A-State Flute Club’s mission

  • To provide educational and performance opportunities to flutists at Arkansas State University
  • To connect A-State student who love the flute with social events
  • To raise money and provide funding to host events and offset costs of extracurricular music experiences for members
  • To spark enthusiasm for the flute in the local community through playing and performance opportunities

  • Current A-State students who are enthusiastic about the flute are eligible to join!
  • Our membership year is August 1, 2024 – July 31, 2025
  • Meetings are held once a month from September-May
  • Membership is FREE!

Eligibility

An individual is qualified for membership provided they are interested in the mission of the Flute Club and are enrolled in at least one course at Arkansas State University.

Benefits of Active Membership

  • Eligible to participate in Flute Club events like social events, workshops, and recitals, on- and off-campus 
  • Receive funding support for extracurricular music events like flute organization membership fees, travel costs, and summer festival tuition
  • Being a part of a supportive community of flutists who can assist and support you in your musical development 
  • Strengthened arts administration experience organizing and executing music events
  • Letters of Recommendation from the Faculty Advisor (Dr. Stephanie Hoeckley)
