I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! The A-State Flute Studio is putting together a holiday flute choir performance with flutists all over Northeast Arkansas, and it’s going to be a lot of fun! Our repertoire includes Jingle Bell Rock, Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy, Silent Night, White Christmas, and a sassy Sleigh Ride Samba. Are you interested in playing with us?
The performance is Friday, Dec. 9 at 6:30 pm at the Valley View High Fine Arts Center before the Jonesboro Community Wind Ensemble concert at 7 pm. There are two rehearsal options in case you aren’t available for one of them. (But you’re welcome to attend both!)
Rehearsals:
- Option 1: Sunday, Dec. 4 from 3-4 pm | A-State Band Room
- Option 2: Thursday, Dec. 8 from 7-8 pm | A-State Band Room
- Dress Rehearsal: Friday, Dec. 9 at 5:30 pm | Valley View High School Fine Arts Center (required)
