Performance Anxiety Workshop with Shanna Pranaitis on April 11

We are thrilled to welcome Shanna Pranaitis to A-State for a workshop called Hacking Your Brain for Practice and Performance!

When: April 11 from 2-3:30 pm

Where: A-State Band Room

Here’s a description of the workshop:

What if I told you there was a way to hack your own brain and its operating system (your unconscious mind) so you could experience more productive practice and feel more at ease on stage? Now imagine if you could accomplish this in less than 60 seconds. That’s right, it’d be amazing.

Join Shanna Pranaitis, a certified Integrative Change Work Coach, to learn the underlying pattern of how your brain changes and how you can use this knowledge in your practice sessions and performances.

You’ll learn evidence-based concepts and specific methods and tools for self-directed neuroplasticity that will allow you to permanently rewire your brain to reduce feelings of anxiety and self-doubt.

You’ll also learn how to dramatically increase the effectiveness and efficiency of your practice sessions so you can feel good in every session. There will also be an opportunity to learn relaxation and visualization techniques.
